If the alchemists saw what they claimed, these researchers say, then it's high time for an "alchemical revolution" to restore them to scientific respectability."

Interesting article, thanks. I have read much of Marcos's PhD thesis, although I was looking at it for the graphitic crucibles, not the mullite. Regarding Principe and the water of life, I suppose it shows how far behind the public face is, since he tried that years ago. I myself made it two years ago without even modern lab facilities.
